Technology can power logistics—but talent fuels its future.
LogiTHON 2025 was Softlink Academy’s endeavour to bring the best young talent into logistics.
In February 2025, Softlink Academy, the skill-building initiative of Softlink Global, partnered with IIT Bombay and AllMasters to host India’s largest AI-driven logistics innovation event—LogiTHON 2025. Over 1,000 participants from more than 200 top institutions came together for a 24-hour hackathon, building smart solutions for real-world logistics challenges. From automating compliance to optimizing multi-modal routes, the results were nothing short of future-forward.
Why Events Like LogiTHON Matter for Logistics
The logistics industry is undergoing massive digital transformation. But one key ingredient often goes missing in that equation—top-tier talent.
Supply chain & logistics has always been the digital backbone of global trade. To build smarter, faster, more efficient supply chains, we need the same caliber of talent that typically gravitates toward fintech or pure tech. That’s where Softlink Academy made an impact through LogiTHON 2025—by bringing the best young minds directly into the heart of the logistics industry.

Key Lessons from LogiTHON 2025
1. Logistics Needs to Show Up Where Talent Is Looking
Tech-savvy students are scanning for impactful industries. If logistics doesn’t raise its hand, it’ll lose out. Events like LogiTHON place the industry front and center—as a domain where innovation truly matters.
2. Talent Doesn’t Need Logistics Experience—It Needs Exposure
Participants didn’t come in as logistics experts. But through real-world problem statements and structured mentorship, they quickly aligned tech thinking with logistics realities. That’s the power of a well-designed challenge.
3. Innovation Can Start from the Outside In
Sometimes, it’s fresh eyes that see the simplest solutions. Students approached old industry problems with new mental models, often proposing solutions that were both elegant and executable.
The industry + academia blend, where a globally leading logistics solutions provider with a rich history of logistics innovation, Softlink Global, collaborated with the nation’s premier educational institute, IIT Bombay also created a rare environment for groundbreaking ideas that were not only innovative but also implementable.
4. Building a Future-Ready Workforce Starts Now
Softlink Academy’s mission to bridge the logistics skills gap starts with early engagement. By recognizing and mentoring top talent through events like LogiTHON, the industry can build a robust, digitally fluent future workforce.
5. Logistics Needs Its Own Movement
Much like fintech’s rise a decade ago, logitech too needs its moment. Better solutions developed for the industry, like Softlink’s Intelligent Cloud ERP Platform Logi-Sys, and induction of the best talent into the logistics industry like done at LogiTHON 2025, pave the way for that momentum to build. And it’s being led by both seasoned experts and rising stars.
What’s Next?
With back-to-back successful editions in 2024 and 2025, LogiTHON is fast becoming a pillar for AI-led innovation in logistics. And Softlink Academy is doubling down on this vision—offering real-world programs, internships, and collaborative industry exposure to those who want to build the future of supply chain tech.
The logistics sector, like any industry, contains problems.
The next-gen has the ideas to solve them.
And initiatives like LogiTHON connect the two.
The logistics sector has often struggled to attract young talent. But as LogiTHON 2025 proved, the interest is there.
What’s needed is the right stage, the right problems—and the belief that logistics is the place to innovate.
Because if the next generation builds it, logistics won’t just keep up.
It’ll lead.
